Todd Haberkorn is a 29 year old voice over actor. He lives in Los Angeles, California, United States.
DS: How did you hear about Dailysingle? What are you expecting from being on the front page?
Todd Haberkorn: I heard about the Dailysingle through seeing it on a friend's page on Facebook. Saw, thought the idea was a healthy glass of awesome, and found my way here.
DS: What are the most memorable years of your life and what happened to make them so memorable?
Todd Haberkorn: My 20s! So many life changing things happened during that timespan (I've still got a few more official months in my 20s). My college experience in 2000 showed me that I DON'T know everything in the world. Having a child in '04 opened up a secret passage way that led to avenues of my heart I didn't know where there. And now, living in LA as an actor; continuing to fulfill my industry dreams (or at the very least, pursue them at warp 9). All of these milestones have helped to craft my journey that I'm on now.

DS: How would you best describe yourself?
Todd Haberkorn: Workaholic for sure. Equal only to Captain Kirk's intense hatred of Klingons. There's a good and bad to such a trait and I feel like I've seen both sides of that: opportunities have presented themselves that I don't feel would be available had I not been working as much as I do, but at the time, my personal life with my friends and family suffer because my time is very packed towards reaching the top of the industry.
Another descriptive trait...thrill seeker! I'm always investigating new and interesting ways to feed the creativity beast inside me. Again, fun when it all works out, but not so much when you look back and can say "yep, that idea should have baked a little longer..."
DS: What are the must-haves in your daily wardrobe?
Todd Haberkorn: Undershirts! boxer briefs that are any color, but white! Pumas to keep my feet comfy (velcro style only), Oakleys to shield my eyes from the sun, and Express or Guess jeans with equally rad shirts.

DS: Who do people tell you you look like?
Todd Haberkorn: I get Keanu Reeves and Joel Olsteen. I feel like that pretty much covers that range of odd comparisons. Although one time someone said I looked like a "punk." (maybe more than once).
DS: How did you end-up being a voice over actor?
Todd Haberkorn: It wasn't a story like you hear where the person was in a store and a producer heard them say "excuse me" and knew there were destined to be behind the mic. It was a normal audition set up through my agent. And after I showed up, the casting director wasn't horribly offended by me and had me back for more. Thus began my life behind the microphone.

DS: Can you tell us more about your job?
Todd Haberkorn: I take my hollow shell of a Todd and fill it with whatever character I need to be for the job at hand...if I'm a fire eating wizard like in the cartoon Fairy Tail, I get my aggression face ready. If I'm attending a convention somewhere in the U.S. for the weekend, I can get my laid back self out. And if I'm a blood thirsty villain in a video game, I buy a baker's dozen of kittens and grind them into kitty paste to get ready.
The good of the job is that I'm doing what I've been doing since I was a kid and making a living at it. I feel very comfortable in front of or behind the mic/camera. And hope to do it for decades to come. The downside is that the competition is fierce and a lot of them are my friends! So, we're all going for the same roles and because folks are so good, the work isn't always consistent. There are times when an actor sits and licks his wounds til the next audition.
DS: Let's talk more about you and your tastes. Any hobbies? What do you like to do in your free time? Any thing you like and recommend?
Todd Haberkorn: Hmm...well, free time would have to exist for hobbies. But, when I have a pinch of time, I game - xbox, ps3, iPad - its all good. I love catching up on films I've missed, writing music, and making movies. When I travel - which is quite often - I enjoy trying new restaurants (non-chains) and seeing what their cuisine is like. I do need to take more time out of my day to enjoy myself cause when I'm working on a hobby - I'm thinking about what work i should be doing instead!
DS: What is a typical week for Todd Haberkorn?
Todd Haberkorn: Typical week starts at about 7:30 and goes til probably 11 for me. And everything in between is a combination of all things that lead to more opportunities (hopefully) in the entertainment world. Whether its working on a skill, auditioning, or actually working on a job - I try to stay as focused as possible on my industry objectives. Its tricky when your work is your passion; you just stay focused on that and a lot of other things fall by the wayside.

DS: Some quick questions: What is the first thing you do in the morning?
Todd Haberkorn: Reach for the iPad and check the news and my emails.
DS: What is your favorite restaurant in Los Angeles?
Todd Haberkorn: Bao on Beverly.
DS: What is your favorite song today? Of all time?
Todd Haberkorn: Today? The Heart of the Matter. Of all time? Geez...that's impossible...something from Elton John I guess?
DS: What is your favorite "drug"?
Todd Haberkorn: Two things:
1. Seeing my little boy shoot me a classic smile.
2. a call from my agent that I booked a gig.

DS: What is in store for you? Any key projects for the next months? Anything you want to share? Can our readers help you with anything?
Todd Haberkorn: Right now, I'm trying to get the word out about Fairy Tail from Funimation. Its a great anime series featuring a lot of fierce wizard battles, dramatic bosses, and cool powers...and if we dub 100 episodes, I'm getting my character's tattoo!

Todd Haberkorn: As I gracefully bow and take my leave, I want to give this piece of wisdom: Genies don't exist. It takes more than wishing for something to happen - so get on it!
