DS: How did you hear about Dailysingle? What are you expecting from being on the front page?

DS: Who do people tell you you look like?
Peter Lewy: People have told me I look like Tom Hanks. I don't really see it, but hey, I'll take it. Arnold Swartzenager (however you spell that) would be a stretch I guess.
DS: What is the compliment you most frequently get?
Peter Lewy: I most often am complimented for my musicianship.
DS: How did you end-up being a cellist?
Peter Lewy: I played many instruments as a child. In high school all I wanted to do was play electric guitar. I got in a band and started playing some cello in it. It got me a lot of attention so I figured I should learn how to do it well. I studied intensely, practicing 10 hours a day for quite a while. For a few years I walked away from any type of pop music to focus on classical but I found I missed singing. By that point I had developed the technique to be able to accompany myself on the cello so that brought me to this point of releasing my album "Some Other Way" which features 3 of my own songs as well as 6 other songs that I love by Jimi Hendrix, the stones and some of my many friends in the music world. It'll available on my website, www.peterlewy.com, within the next few weeks.
